Residents of Manyang-Ngok County in Tonj state are facing severe water shortages that are threatening to trigger conflict within the community.
The county commissioner, Buona Bol Ariech says two of the three boreholes in the county have broken down, leaving only one source of clean water to serve the entire county.
The commissioner says the inhabitants are also struggling with a lack of medicines and limited health services.
Commissioner Ariech says only Primary Health Care Unit is functioning.
