March 27, 2019 (KHARTOUM) The U.S. dollar price on Wednesday hit an all-time high on the black market as the Sudanese pound declined to 86,00 per dollar.
Traders speaking to Sudan Tribune Wednesday in central Khartoum said the purchase price of the U.S. dollar through checks has reached 86,00 pounds while the cash purchase was 69,00 pounds.

South Sudan Central Bank vows to stabilize dollar price

Inflation in Sudan rise to 63,86% as US dollar price hits record high

July 20, 2018 (KHARTOUM) Sudan's inflation rate has risen to 63,86% in June compared to 60,93 in May, reported the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBoS).
In its monthly bulletin issued on Thursday, the CBoS pointed to the significant increase in the price of clothing and shoes at the beginning of the new school year.

Sudanese pound falls to record low against U.S. dollar

July 13, 2018 (KHARTOUM) - The Sudanese pound on Thursday has hit another historic low against the U.S. dollar on black market despite strict administrative and security measures put in place by the government since last November.

US dollar price reaches 40,5 Sudanese pounds on black market

June 25, 2018 (KHARTOUM) The price of the US dollar has increased on the black market in Khartoum on Sunday, settling at 40,5 Sudanese pounds.
Traders speaking to Sudan Tribune Sunday in central Khartoum said selling price of the US dollar settled at 42 pounds while purchase price reached 40,5 pounds compared to 39,2 last week.

Sudan’s central bank blames US dollar price rise on gold companies
