Two farmers killed at voluntary return village in Central Darfur

August 6, 2018 (ZALINGEI) - Two farmers have been killed and one seriously injured on Sunday in an attack by unknown gunmen against Kambo Di village for voluntary return, 5 kilometres west of Zalingei the capital of Central Darfur State.
In a statement seen by Sudan Tribune, IDPs and Refugees Committee in Central Darfur said 6 gunmen at 2:00 am (local time) on Sunday opened fire at Kambo Di residents killing two and injuring one.

EU vows to support voluntary return projects in Darfur

August 5, 2018 (KHARTOUM) - Darfur Commission for Voluntary Return and Resettlement (CVRR) has briefed the European Union (EU) delegation to Sudan on its ongoing projects, programmes and future plans.

Sudan says keen to resolve border dispute with Ethiopia

August 5, 2018 (KHARTOUM) - Vice-President Hassabo Mohamed Abdel-Rahman has stressed Sudan's commitment to resolving border issues with Ethiopia through the joint technical committees between the two countries.

Sudan, Norway agree to enhance joint cooperation

August 4, 2018 (KHARTOUM) - Sudan's Minister of International Cooperation Idriss Sulieman on Saturday has discussed with the Norwegian Ambassador to Khartoum Bård Hopland ways to activate various aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries.

South Sudan government is ready for peace implementation: Kiir

Sudan, Ethiopia border security committee meets in Asosa

August 3, 2018 (KHARTOUM) - The joint border security committee between Sudan's Blue Nile State and Ethiopia's Benishangul-Gumuz region has kicked off on Thursday in Asosa.

Arab Parliament launches plan to lift Sudan’s name from U.S. terror list

August 3, 2018 (KHARTOUM) - The Arab Parliament has announced the beginning of the first phase of its plan to lift Sudan's name from the U.S. list of states sponsors of terrorism.

Three school kids killed as classroom wall collapses in Khartoum

August 1, 2018 (KHARTOUM) Three girls have been killed and eight others injured on Wednesday morning when a classroom wall collapsed at Al-Sidiq primary school in Umbadda locality, Khartoum State.

Sudan’s FM calls to speed-up border demarcation with Ethiopia

Sudan hands over 80 children victims of human trafficking to their families

July 28, 2018 (KHARTOUM) - Sudan's National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking (NCCHT) Friday said 80 children, victims of human trafficking, have been returned to their families.
