UK special envoy discusses Sudan preparations for 2020 elections

August 17, 2018 (KHARTOUM) – The head of parliamentary sub-committee on foreign relations Mohamed al-Mukhtar Thursday discussed with the United Kingdom special envoy to Sudan and South Sudan Chris Trott ongoing preparations for the 2020 elections.

UK minister urges S. Sudan’s warring parties to end civil war

British diplomat welcomes Sudan’s decision to overturn Noura’s death sentence

June 28, 2018 (KHARTOUM) – British Ambassador to Sudan Irfan Siddiq Thursday welcomed a decision by an appeal court in Khartoum to commute a death penalty sentence against a young woman convicted of killing her husband in self-defence.

A delegation of House of Lords of UK to visit Sudan in April

March 5, 2018 (KHARTOUM) The deputy head of Sudan’s parliamentary subcommittee on foreign affairs, Mutwakil Tigani, said a delegation from the House of Lords of the United Kingdom would visit Khartoum in April.
