Lately, entertainers that initially never made political comments, but rather made songs about issues they fancied have now taken to giving opinion on anything and everything political. Last week socialite Zari nearly broke the internet after questioning People Power leader, Bobi Wine’s credentials.
Over the weekend, singer Eddy Kenzo, who is by the way still stuck in Ivory Coast, took a screenshot of some international website page about Malawi’s new president and how he has appointed his relatives into office and captioned it: “Entalo zitandikidewo nga yakalinya kuntebe kati awo bitandise banange Africa enyuma.”
Literally meaning Lazarus Chakwera has just become president, but disagreements have started manifesting. The thing he loves about Africa.
However, the brigade that seems to have assembled the day singer Rema Namakula bounced from his arms to Dr Hamza’s is always ready to bash and rub his woes on his face regardless of what his opinion is. They wondered why he was poking his nose in stuff that does not concern him or need his opinion. Some assume they have finally cracked the puzzle on why Rema left him, whereas some just said he has replaced singer Bebe Cool.
Mugisha Arafat: “I do not blame Rema for leaving this cry baby trying to insinuate what is bigger what u can chew hmmm.”
Jona Jona: “So tell us wat we should do? Anti tokyalina magezi. You replaced Bebe Cool.”
Luswata Jimmy: “Kale nolaba obwongo obutono. Mbu he is also a celebrity. A dense fool celebrating the biggest problems we are facing as a continent. What is there to celebrate? Africa enyuma ki? What is the difference btn wat u said and m7 saying uganda etandise okumpomera? Kasajja gwe tolina magezi”
Mugerwa David Nsumba: “MAN STYLE UP NAAWE. not his relatives. it is like Bobi can appoint you as a minister & you request him to also to appoint your wife for any ministerial post.”
Tony Ddembe: “Instead of condemning Ssebunya’s act you are jumping into your neighbors problem.”
Irene Namaganda: “Naye kasajja gwe kyova wasiranira kumawaga olina eko kumutima eeeh. Bananage mbade gamba omuntu asoka kujulira babe.oooo muli tabu.
