Nairobi 16-year-old who carried dead baby to mortuary taken back to school.

Immaculate Auma a 16 year old who recently trended on several interwebs after carrying the body of her dead son for about 5 kilometers to the morgue has finally returned back to school.

Immaculate a class seven drop out of at Anwa Junior Academy , dropped out of school when she noticed that she was pregnant.

Some explained how various women have been visiting her at their home in Kibra following the death of her son, where they offered to pay school fees.

“I was brought here by a women’s organization who asked me what I wanted to do and I choose to go back to school so they brought me here.” she said.

“I want to thank them and ask them to help other people like me, I wanted to be a nurse but now I want to go over and beyond that and become a doctor,” she added.

Anwa academy, school administrator Carolyne Asholo said as a school they will pay for her boarding fees while women’s group led by Belinda Konje will pays her school fees.
