Any state assembly that would like to be offered the government car loan should apply to the relevant institutions, says the chairperson of the information committee at the parliament.
This is a response to the lawmakers at the Torit august house.
Last week, Torit MPs requested that the 40,000-dollar car loan given to each national MP recently be extended to them.
“You sit down, you make your own budget, present in the parliament, adopt it, then from your governor, something is done, said Paul Yoane.
“This car loan was something budgeted and it actually went through different stages until the members go it finally.
The move had drawn criticism from the public given the fact that this was done amidst the economic crisis in the country.
