A witchcraft who claims to be a pastor in norther Uganda refugee camp has been killed by South Sudanese refugees after reportedly claiming that peace will never come to South Sudan as it is written in the Bible, the police and several refugees sources have said.
The Adjumani district Police Commander Maundo Jackson said the woman had been accused of claiming to be preacher when she was actually practicing witchcraft according to South Sudanese refugees confirming that the woman as results was stoned to death.
The refugees grew angry after the unnamed local woman said peace would never come to South Sudan as written in the Bible.
Jackson further said as the community gathered to address the issue, the meeting turned rowdy and the woman was beaten to death.
